Are you a student, scholar, or a general reader interested in literature about Early American History and the American Revolution? If so, you may want to check out Seedy Press's new American Revolution CD. This CD contains a wealth of works, such as Mercy Otis Warren's plays on the American Revolution. These plays were written between 1773-1779, and include The Adulateur, The Defeat, The Group, The Blockheads, and The Motley Assembly. Also included on this CD is Warren's three-volume history of The Rise, Progress and Termination of the American Revolution as well as Richard Seltzer's review of this book.

Other works found on this CD include: In addition to these literary works, this CD also contains a variety of Historical Documents relating to the American Revolution and Early Republic. These documents include, but are not limited to, copies of: If you are a historian, or history buff, this is a collection of works that will make you drool. Buying these items individually could easily bankrupt the average person. And, while most of these items can be found on the Internet or in your local library, there is nothing like having your own copy, that you can consult at will, cut and paste sections into documents you are working with (which is great when taking notes), in addition, this CD is a great space saver and is much easier to move than several boxes of books :) In addition, if you are in school, you may find that this CD offers you the opportunity to obtain several of the books you'll need, for less than the price of one hardback book.

This CD runs off of any Windows based PC, however you do need to have a web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) and/or a Windows based word-processing program such as Microsoft Word, or Corel's Word Perfect, in order to read the text. Once the text is opened, you can enlarge the font to suit your reading needs. In addition, this CD can be read by most screen reading programs.
