The BiOptic Driving Network provides a wealth of information on BiOptic Driving. Not only will you find explanations on how BiOptic driving devices work, but you'll also find information about driver education training for the visually impaired. This site also addresses some of the issues / controversies relating to low vision and driving. You can also access a discussion board on BiOptic Driving via this site. This site does not sell BiOpitc lenses, however they do provide a list of BiOptic Vendors.

Code-it.com offers a variety of freeware and shareware software programs that are useful to individuals with visual impairments. These programs included talking browsers, text enlargement software, and text readers. Code-it.com also offers a variety of other programs ranging from computer security to Indian software programs.

This is an online reference room that enables visually impaired and print disabled individuals to email any questions they have to a reference librarian, who will answer their questions, usually within 48 hours. Patrons can also 'chat' live with a reference librarian. This service is being offered by a group of talking book libraries.

Online Programming for All Libraries (OPAL)
Sponsored by the Illinois Network of Libraries Serving the Blind and Physically Handicapped, OPAL offers individuals the opportunity to participate in online meetings and library programs that run the gamut from Book Discussions and Online Interviews to Writing Workshops and Online Tutorials. These programs are held in chat rooms that are accessible to the visually impaired.
