Birches and Other Poems is a delightful collection of poems by Robert Frost. This Dover Large Print book is printed in such a manner as to meet the standards set forth, for large print books, by National Association for Visually Handicapped.
This book contains 77 poems that all speak to the wonder of rural life in New England. This book comprises all the poems found in Frost's first three collections of poetry, namely, A Boy's Will, North of Boston, and Mountain Interval.
Frost was born in San Francisco in 1874. As a young child he moved to New England, and stayed there for the rest of his life, except for a short stay in England. A prolific and renowned poet who won four Pulitzer Prizes, he passed away in 1963. Although he had been writing for years before his collection of poems, A Boy's Will was published, it is this book that first brought his name to prominence.
This book, Birches and Other Poems, amply illustrates Frost's poetic skill. His imagery is outstanding, and his words will readily speak to your heart. This is a must for any Frost fan, or for anyone who wants an outstanding introduction to the body of his work.
