Hercule Poirot is on the case once again in this classic mystery tale by Agatha Christie. In Dead Man's Mirror, Christie's esteemed Belgium detective is faced with a locked-room mystery. Poirot's host, Sir Gervase Chevenix-Gore is found shot to death in his locked study. It must be suicide, mustn't it? Not necessarily according to the quick-witted Poirot, whose only clue that Gervase's death wasn't a suicide is a broken mirror. Christie writing is superb and logical, and you cannot help but hold your breath as she sends Poirot through his paces as he unravels a mystery that only he can see.
Dead Man's Mirror is a short, quick paced mystery that only serves to reinforce the opinion that Christie is and was the Queen of the Mystery genre. This unabridged audio edition of Dead Man's Mirror is read by Hugh Fraser, who plays Captain Hastings in the televised versions of Christie's Poirot mysteries that have aired on the PBS-TV Mystery! Series. Fraser's reading is as mesmerizing as is this intriguing and gripping story.
This audio edition of Dead Man's Mirror is also available on CD.
