Footsteps of Angels is a complete, and unabridged, large print edition of this previously unpublished book by E. C. Tubb (Edwin Charles Tubb). Published as part of the Linford Mystery Library, this is a science fiction story wrapped in a mystery.
The story focuses on Max Feyman, a ruthless tycoon who has a controlling interest in the Zipdrive, a unique, computer controlled propulsion system used for ultra-fast space travel that 'pushes' a vessel forward about ten-thousand miles with every pulse of the drive.
In this galactic adventure, Feyman is forced out of his insular and dictatorial business environ when his daughter, Celia, is struck down by a mysterious aliment while vacationing on the Moon. As the plague begins to spread across the galaxy, Feyman begins a race against time to find a cure for his daughter, and by extension, for the rest of mankind.
The story is filled with zipships, danger, courageous pilots, and a nice assortment of bad guys and gals. Quick paced and engrossing, Footsteps of Angels is a great, easy read for adventure, mystery, and science fiction fans.
Footsteps of Angels can be purchased directly from Ulverscroft, the parent company of the Linford Mystery Library.
