Overview of Ocular Disorders is a brief overview of common ocular disorders. The information in this book is conveniently organized into thematic categories such as the 'Skin and Eyelids', 'Vitreous and Retina', and 'Neurological Conditions'. Although useful as a reference guide, Nancy Gwin's book is primarily a study aid for students in various ophthalmic specialities. For those studying for one of the many ophthalmic certification exams, you will find this book particularly useful. Information that is pertinent to specific exams is clearly marked with 'study icons' that indicate which elements of the text are required knowledge for various certification exams ranging from optometric assistant to low vision subspecialty.
There are ten chapters in this book, and each chapter begins with a list of key points that highlight the most important aspects of the chapter.
