Jon Stewart, the late night comedian and pundit who, according to Newsweek, makes fifteen million dollars a year, and who is a darling of the left wing of our country as well as many others who simply enjoy humor, joined with others in writing this very clever and humorous book. Last week, it was the number one best seller on New York Times best seller list. However, this week, on November 14, 2010, it slipped to number two, below Glenn Beck's book, which made it to number one.
The theme of this lively and funny volume is educating aliens about life on earth.
There are nine chapters on: the earth, life, man, the life cycle, society, commerce, religion, science, and culture. Each page has many pictures and addresses many items. For example: A funeral is a chance for the living to say goodbye, albeit a few days too late. The major strength of democracy is that every citizen has a voice in government; the major weakness is that every citizen has a voice in government. Placing your hand on this magic book (the Bible) made it physically impossible to lie. A defense attorney is one of five percent of law school graduates who actually used his degree to help people – or to subvert society from within, depending on who you asked. "Work" is that which we don't want to do, but have to do, if we don't want to eat dirt.
