The Lincoln Lawyer - Now a Major Motion Picture!

You are riding through the Mojave Desert in Mickey Haller's Lincoln when this story begins. This is Michael Connelly's introduction to Mickey Haller, Attorney-at-Law. This story is so tightly written you learn about Mickey's famous lawyer father, his two ex-wives and his poor relationship with his daughter while you are caught up in this fast moving legal thriller.

Mickey Haller works out of his Lincoln, of which he owns several (in storage) so that when one becomes unusable, he pulls another out of storage. Mickey's father (deceased when Mickey was a child) passed on the advice that an innocent client is the scariest client. Mickey thought he finally had an innocent client when he accepts the case of a wealthy realtor accused of attempted murder, sexual assault and more. Instead he finds pure evil. This story is full of twists and turns and colorful characters. Mickey has to question his own morality and code of ethics while protecting the lives of his daughter and her mother. A true "can't put it down till I'm done" story.

The reading is excellent. A reader can make or break a good story for the listener. Mr. Grupper fills the discs with tension, happiness or heart stopping fear, whatever is called for in the story.
