Tactile Tape Measure
A tape designed to indicate measurements by feel. The 60 inch tape is marked by eyelets at every inch and half inch. Two eyelets mark every foot. Large numbers against the white background make it useful for the sighted. Imported from the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
Raised-Line Drawing Kit
A specially designed board that allows the user to write or draw on a regular sheet of paper and make the writing be tactile. You place a sheet of 8.5" x 11" standard or Braille paper on the board, write with a standard pen, turn the paper over and feel whatever you have drawn or written.
Electric Thermo Pen II
Powered by household current, the Thermo-Pen is an instrument designed to create a raised image directly on FLEXI-PAPER. Has a heated tip which, when moved slowly across the paper, creates tactile lines, words or symbols.
Consists of 1 row of 7 see-through compartments with separate lids. Each lid is marked with a number 1 to 7, & letter indicating day of week in raised letters and braille. The rows may be linked together for added portability.

Holes mark every 6 inches on the tape measure and a 6 inch ruler is attached to the bottom of the tape measure. The attached ruler has raised lines at every 1/8 inch, and raised and Brailled numbers. To measure, the user pulls out the tape, determines the length on the tape measure by counting the number of holes and multiplying by 6 inches and adds the distance from the attached ruler.
