Product Description: Looky is a portable electronic magnifier with several unique and appealing features. Its 3.5" handle lets you hold it like a standard magnifier, however, you can fold the handle under the unit if you prefer sliding the camera, or for compactness when carryiing it in its pouch. The handle also serves as a stand for the camera, holding it at a distance from the paper on which you are writing so you can see your writing magnified on the screen. The camera is located in the middle of the 4" LCD screen making it easy to know where to place it to magnify the text or images. Images can be seen in color, black on white, white on black and in high contrast. Once you capture an image, you can freeze it to bring the unit closer to your eyes. It is like taking a photograph. You can do this in a supermaket when you are not able to read the price of a product on the top shelf. Hold the Looky up in front of it, push the button to capture the picture and afterwards you can check the price or ingredients with ease. It comes with standard "AA" rechargeable batteries and a bettery charger. When charged, these batteries last for 1.5 hours, but you can also use standard alkaline batteries to power the magnifier. Looky measures 4.25" x 3" x 1.3" without the handle and weighs 7 oz.
