This is a collection of more than 500 books, diaries, biogrpahical novels, and other primary source material of a biographical nature. All of this material is contained on a single CD-rom, and all of the texts are in plain text (ASCII) format making them accessible using text-to-speech and screen maganification programs.
The documents in this collection highlight a variety of cultures and histocial periods and include, as the title suggests, biographies, autobiographies, memoirs, reminiscences, diaries, journals, official papers and notebooks, and biographical novels. In the sweep of journals, diaries, memoirs, and reminiscences, both ficitional and nonfiction selections are included.

Real People is an excellent collection of biographies and other biographical documents. For less than the price of a typical hardcover book, you can have an entire bookshelf's worth of book that will provide years of reading material, yet take up less storage space than a slice of bread. All in all, an excellent value and an outstanding resource!
