Can you become wealthy simply by listening to an audiobook? It is doubtful, but you never know. There is that faint chance that in the next book you listen to you'll discover that little nugget of wisdom that you need to fulfill all of your financial dreams. The Richest Man in Town: The Twelve Commandments of Wealth is another one of those must listen to book for the unceasingly optimistic. Written and read by W. Randall Jones, the founder of Worth magazine, this book lays out the twelve keys to becoming wealthy.

To develop these keys, or commandments, Jones traveled around the country interviewing people who worked themselves to wealth - those that simply stumbled into wealth or who were born into it, were not included in this survey. During the course of these hundreds of interviews he discovered that several common threads kept turning up in the stories of how these very wealthy people obtained their wealth. His findings are distilled within this book.

To say the least, The Richest Man in Town: The Twelve Commandments of Wealth is an inspiring book because it shows in no uncertain terms that if you are willing to work hard, anything is possible. You just have to learn how find your passion, be your own boss, target your efforts, identify your goals, and learn not to let the inevitable problems you will face distract you from reaching your goals.

While I found much of the advice in this book rather of a common sense nature, and nothing that I haven't really heard before. However, what makes this book special are the various anecdotes that Jones tells about his interviewees, and his own life. In addition, it is very inspirational to know that people just like you have started with nothing and gone on to become multi-millionaires, if not billionaires. If they can do, you to have that potential, so get out there, identify your passion, set some goals, and go for it!!!! Good luck!
